Aretha Steele, Psy.D

I am humbled to join your journey. I recognize the strength, courage and trust it takes to reach out and begin therapy. Everyone faces challenges in life. Sometimes, it may not feel as if you have the emotional resources to manage adversity, leaving negative thoughts and feelings of being overwhelmed, stuck in an unhealthy pattern, or affecting relationships and communication. With the right tools in place, I believe you can manage any obstacles in your path.

Whether its depression, anxiety, family conflicts, problematic relationships, history of abuse/trauma,  behavioral/emotional problems of childhood, trouble coping with change, daily stress, or other challenges, together we can create the tools needed to help you lead a fuller and productive life.

I integrate cognitive-behavioral and insight oriented strategies that foster the self-awareness and coping skills necessary for healing and well-being to take place. My goal is to facilitate a space where you can be your authentic self and feel empowered to tackle life's stressors. I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of the individual in a safe and supportive setting that promotes exploration, acceptance, and change.
