NINA M Williams, LCSW

As your clinician, I will assist you in developing adaptation tools for life.  Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches we will work together integrating mindfulness techniques that will help improve individual awareness, as well as work to understand and realign negative effects of environmental circumstances.  We will prioritize concerns, recognize common thinking issues, and organize a plan to help you successfully manipulate the curve balls of life.

I will always perform my professional duties with the utmost respect for social and cultural diversities, which encompasses circumstances from environmental influences.  I have conducted these psychotherapeutic services with numerous genres. These genres include elementary and high school-aged children, college students, military families, psychiatric hospital divisions, and corrections to name a few.  I am also a Certified Incident Stress Debriefing specialist and Disaster Events Manager.

Years of utilizing Person Centered Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques has taught me the value of personal perspectives.  I have grown in the understanding that even though there are like-situations occurring in everyone’s life, the impact will always have an individualized effect.
